Week Forty-Seven: Pamela Thibodeaux

Don't bury Your Talent

“Praying always with prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful with perseverance and supplication for the saints, and for me that utterance my be given to me that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the the mystery of the gospel.”
—Ephesians 6:18-20

Isn’t this what it’s all about...glorifying God?

For me it is.

I begin each project with this prayer and pray it continually over my work. From conception to publication, I bathe my stories with these words. As a firmly committed Christian, I believe writing is a gift, a talent given by God and should be used for His glory and the good of all mankind. Whether what you write is considered Christian or not, don’t bury your talent. Use the gift within you to entertain, touch hearts and impact lives.

Award-winning author, Pamela S. Thibodeaux is the Co-Founder and a lifetime member of Bayou Writers Group in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Multi-published in romantic fiction as well as creative non-fiction, her writing has been tagged as, “Inspirational with an Edge!” ™ and reviewed as “steamier and grittier than the typical Christian novel without decreasing the message.”
