He's in the Noise

Thanks to Sally Chambers for this inspiring poem!

For busy writers—something light.
Have you written something bright?
Something given from above,
Something of God's heavenly love?

Meditating on the meaning
Sitting, musing, hoping, gleaning
Thinking of the holy birth
What it means to all the earth
God the Father fills my mind
Inspiring me to tell mankind
God sent his Son to save us all
If we will only heed his call
He's in the noise and in the toys
He's in the feasts and in the joys
He is everywhere we look
In every cranny, every nook
Omnipresent, gracious Lord
Capture hearts in one accord.

Jesus said: "For I have given to them the words which You have given
Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came
forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me" (John 17:8
